Solution

The correct option is B 4 m
Inner circumference of ring = 5027 m

Outer circumference of ring = 7537 m

To find:- Width of ring

Solution:-
Formula for circumference = 2π×radius

Let the outer and inner radius of ring be R and r respectively.
inner circumference of ring=5027 m
2πr=5027
2×227×r=5027
44r=352r=8
outer circumference of ring=7537 m
2πR=7537
2×227×R=7537
44R=528R=12

Hence,
Width of ring = Inner circumference of ring - Outer circumference of ring = 128=4 m

Hence the correct answer is 4 m.
