Solution

area of park =700×300=210000m2
If we take the horizontal road as road 1, its breadth is 10m and length is 700m. So its area is 10×700=7000m2
If we take the vertical road 2, its breadth is 10m and length is 300m. so its area is 10×300=3000m2
There is a small square at the centre caused by the intersection of the roads. lenght of its side is 10m, its area is 10×10=100m2
total area of roads =area of road 1 +area of road 2 -area of the small square at the centre.7000 +3000 -100=10000-100
=9900m2
area of park excluding crossroads =area of park -area of roads
2100009900=200100m2
200100m2 in hectares:
i hectare =10000m2.
1m2=110000 hectare.
200100m2=20010010000 hectare
that is equal to 20.01 hectare.
