Let the third side $x$ meters.
Then according to the question,other two sides are $(2 x - 5)$ meters each.

Then, $2 x - 5 + 2 x - 5 + x = 55$

$5 x - 10 = 55$

$5 x = 65$

$x = 13 m$

Thus other two sides are $2 \times 13 - 5 = 21 m$ each.
