Two friends Harry and Larry who are very fond of Indian cuisine went to Hotel A for having lunch. Harry and Larry had 3 and 5 rotis respectively. For dinner they went to Hotel B where the size of the roti was relatively small. Assuming that they have same amount of hunger as before and Larry ate 10 rotis, how many rotis did Harry eat?
6
Let rotis eaten by Harry for dinner be x
If they have the same amount of hunger, the ratio of rotis eaten by them will remain same in both the hotels.
Hence, 35=x10
⇒x=10×35
⇒x=6
So, Harry ate 6 rotis.
