Solution

The correct option is C 2:1
To find: rato of resultant magnetic field to magnetic field of one coil=?
Solution: Let radius of both coils be R.
As we know that,
magnetic field at centre due to circular coil is,
B=μ0I2r
Now, B1:
B1=μ0I2R=B(say)
Now, B2:
B2=μ0I2R
==>B2=B1=B

Beq=B21+B22
Beq=B2+B2
Beq=2B2
Beq=2B
Now,
BeqB1=2BB
Beq:B1=2:1
as B1=B2
therefore,Beq:B2=2:1
hence,
The correct opt : C
