Two independent monohybrid cross is were crossed out involving a tall pea plant . In the 1st cross the offspring had an equal number of tall and dwarf plants where as the second cross it was all different . Work out the crosses and explain giving reasons for the different offspring population.

The ratio of progeny is 1:1


In the second cross, the genotypes of the parents would be TT and tt

Progeny: All will be Tt
The ratio of the progeny is 100% tall.

The difference in offspring populaiton is due to the differences in the genotypes of the parents.
