Solution

The correct option is B Plantae and Animalia
In the past, all the organisms have been divided into two groups, plants and animals. This was also done by Linnaeus. He founded two kingdoms, kingdom Plantae and kingdom Animalia. Haeckel separated unicellular animals, algae and fungi from other organisms on the basis of lack of tissue differentiation. The new group was called kingdom Protista. Copeland created a separate kingdom of Monera for them. This divided the living world into four kindgoms Monera, Protista, Plantae and Animalia. In order to develop phylogentic classifications, RH Whittaker, an American taxonomist, divided all the organisms into the five kingdoms. Whittaker's five kingdoms are Monera, Protista, Fungi, Plantae and Animalia.
