The correct option is D 1 C
Let the charge on the bigger and smaller sphere be Q1 and Q2 respectively.

According to the question :
Q1+Q2=8 C ------(1)

Since, the spheres are connected by a conducting wire, there electric potential will be same.
i.e. V1=V2

kQ1R1=kQ2R2

From the data given the question :
Q114=Q22

Or, Q1=7Q2

Putting in (1) :
7Q2+Q2=8

Or, Q2=1 C
