Hence from laws of reflection

$r_1={35}^0$

So from the triangle

${40}^0+{90}^0+{35}^0+x={180}^0$

$x={15}^0$

Hence $i_2={90}^0-{15}^0={75}^0$

So $\theta ={90}^0-{75}^0={15}^0$

$\theta ={15}^0$
