Two mirrors are arranged as shown in the figure. Light is incident on the first mirror at an angle of 35o. The light reflects towards a second mirror. Determine that angle θ in degrees.

Given: Two mirrors are arranged as shown in the figure. Light is incident on the first mirror at an angle of 35. The light reflects towards a second mirror.
To find: the angle θ
Solution:
From the above figure, angle of incidence of the first light ray is 35.
Hence the angle between the first incident ray the mirror is (9035) i.e., 55
By observation OAB forms a triangle,
A=55+35+35=125
Hence, For the triangle, 40+125+θ=180
θ=15
