(A) During the process BC, VT is constant. It is a polytropic process. Hence, K=2.

The work done is W=nRK1(TfTi)=2×R21(600300)=600R

(B) The heat supplied is q=nC(TfTi). Here, C=CV+R1K=3R2+R12=R2
q=2×R2(600300)=300R
