The correct option is B 10 m

AE=BC=8m from figure ----- (1)
BD=BC+CD $\Rightarrow 14 = 8 + C D \Rightarrow C D = 6 m$
also AB=EC=8m
Now applying Pythagoras' theorem on $△ C D E$
$E D^{2} = E C^{2} + D C^{2} E D^{2} = 8^{2} + 6^{2} \Rightarrow E D^{2} = 64 + 36 = 100 E D = 10 m$
