The correct option is A Number of images of point object P1 formed by two plane mirror is two.
  • Rays of P1 can reach AM1 and BM2 and form images.But there is no rays which reflects from one mirror to another.
  • Therefore only 2 images are formed.
  • P2 can produce images on AM1 and BM2 separately.Also there is a scope of rays of P2 got reflected to AM1 from BM2 and cause image formation.
  • Total number of images will be 3.
  • No rays of P3 can reach BM2 rays of P3 reach AM1 and produce one image.
