Active power supplied to load = 50 kW

Reactive power supplied to load,
Q=P tan ϕ
=50tan(cos10.8)
=37.5kVAR

Active power supplied by one generator =502=25 kW
Power factor of generator 1 =cosϕ1=0.9 lag

Reactive power supplied by generator 1
=25×tan(cos10.9)=12.10 kVAR

Reactive power supplied by generator 2
=37.512.10
=25.4 kVAR
ϕ2=tan1(25.425)=45.45o
cosϕ2=0.701 lagging
