Unicellular organisms are less complex and primitive whereas multicellular organisms posses various cell organelles and are more advanced in terms of functions. They posses different organs for performing different functions. There is proper division of labour between the cells in case of multicellular organisms. Hence, we consider them more advance than unicellular organisms.
