The correct option is B Velocity of block C will be 25m/s upwards. Assuming vertically upward direction as +ve,
Velocity of pulley P1, VP1=VA+VB2=(−20)+102 ⇒VP1=−5m/s
(−ve sign means VP1 is in downward direction)
Similarly, velocity of pulley P2 VP2=VP1+VC2 +10=(−5)+VC2 ⇒VC=25m/s ∴Block C will be moving with velocity 25m/s, upwards.
