$p\left(1\right)=1-1$

$p\left(1\right)=0$

Replace x by -1 we get

$p(-1)=(-1{)}^2-1$

$p(-1)=1-1$

$p(-1)=0$

So the value of polynomial is zero

Then polynomial $p\left(x\right)=x^2-1$ for value $x\pm 1$ is zero polynomial
