Solution

2x-3y=14 x=14+3y2 ...(i) 5x+2y=16 ....(ii)Substituting eq (i) in eq (ii), we get: 5×14+3y2+2y=1670+15y+4y=3219y=-38y=-2Substituting y=-2 in eq (i), we get :x=14+3×-22x=4Hence, x=4, y=-2 is the solution of the given equations.
