Water is pumped out of a well $10 m$ dup by means of a pump rated at $10 K m$ . Find the efficiency of the motor if $4200 K g$ of water is pumped out every minute.

$P = \frac{m g h}{t} = \frac{4200 g 10}{60} = 7 k W$
efficiency= $\frac{7 k}{10 k} \times 100 = 70$ %
