we know that when light of different colours falll on an object, it absorbs some colours and reflect others, which becomes the colour of the object. so, if light has only 7 colours, that are: violet, indigo, blue, green,yellow,orange and red, how can we see other colours under white light?

When there is a dispersion of Light there is a spectra of 7 colours ,but due to overlapping of these colours there are so many colours which we can see.
