We sprinkle salt on dead animals to decompose them easily which means that microbes work better on things in which salt is added but on the other hand we we add salt to pickle to check microbial growth. How is it possible that on one hand salt doesn't allow microbial growth and on the other hand it allows microbial growth to happen

Dear student,
I dont think that sprinkling salt on dead animals let them decompose faster.
It is to temporarily preserve the dead animals as highly saline environments prevent microbial growth and inhibit decomposition (that is why many packaged food products have a high salt content). However, the salt can only inhibit decomposition, it cannot prevent it. Eventually the body will decompose. However, it can probably keep animals away as it interferes with the scent.

So salt only inhibits decomposition, never promotes it.
