Asthma: Asthma is a chronic disease that primarily affects the bronchi and bronchioles of the lungs. A person feels difficulty in breathing and followed by severe cough, restlessness, cough, and a wheezing sound while breathing. Mostly it is due to pollutants or allergy to anything.
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD): This consist of all the respiratory diseases that cause breathlessness or the inability to exhale. It majorly affects people who have been exposed to smoking and can have to worsen if smoking is done by the person.
Emphysema: Emphysema is defined as a chronic disease, that causes a reduction of the respiratory surface due to the damage to the lung alveolar walls. It is caused due to cigarette smoking. The main symptoms include shortness of breath and cough. It also leads to a loss of elasticity of the lungs.
