Open in App
Solution

Prokaryotic cells:

  1. A nucleoid area, DNA and RNA serving as the cells' genetic building blocks, ribosomes producing proteins, and a cytoplasm containing the cytoskeleton that arranges cellular components are all features of prokaryotic cells.
  2. Prokaryotic creatures, on the other hand, are a tremendously varied collection of living things and exist in a wide range of sizes and forms.

Characteristics of Prokaryotic cells:

  1. There are no membrane-bound cell organelles like chloroplasts, Golgi apparatus, or mitochondria.
  2. There is no membrane-bound, clearly delineated nucleus.
  3. Circular DNA makes up genetic material, which is found bare in the cytoplasm of cells.
  4. It is known as the nucleoid and is attached to the cell membrane.
  5. The size of the cells varies from 0.1 to 5.0 micrometres.
  6. Polysaccharides make up the hard framework that is the cell wall.
