Question

what are all possible conditions for the collision of two vectors?

Open in App
Solution

Condition for two masses moving with velocities u1 and u2 which become vector quantities, collide are,a) 1. velocity u1>u2.2. they may collide on a straight line known as front on collision.they may collide obliquely as a result of which after collision they move in different direction.b) Masses m1 and m2 may be moving in opposite direction and collide, either 1. front on or 2. obliquely.c) masses m1 and m2 moving perpendicular to each other and collide. In these collisions, the collisions may be elastic or inellastic.
