The causes of the Russian Revolution were

1. Autocratic rules of the Czars/Tsars: The Czars/Tsars were not willing to introduce any democratic reforms in Russia. Hence, the people of Russia had no way of making their will felt in the governance of Russia.

2. Social inequalities: Russian society was divided between a small section of rich and large masses of poor. Such inequalities created resentment against the government. The emergence of the working class in Russia and the influence of communism on them
