Systems present in the human body:

The human body is made of cells that combine to form tissues, tissues altogether form organs which further group together to form organ systems. Some systems in the human body include-

  1. Skeletal system: It is the internal framework of the human body.
  2. Muscular system: It allows movements of the body and circulates blood throughout the body.
  3. Nervous system: It includes the brain, spinal cord, and all the nerves connected to both of these organs.
  4. Digestive system: It includes all the organs that carry food from where it enters to where it exits. It is also known as the gastrointestinal system.
  5. Cardiovascular system: This system helps in carrying blood throughout the whole body.
  6. Lymphatic system: It plays a vital role in maintaining blood pressure, digestion, immunity, etc.
  7. Endocrine system: It regulates metabolism and is helpful in the process of digestion.
  8. Respiratory system: It is responsible for breathing it also carries oxygen in and carbon dioxide out of the body.
  9. Integumentary system: This system consists of the skin and all the structures in it it is the only single organ system.
  10. Reproductive system: This system helps in the reproduction and fertilization of the human body to form the next generation.
  11. Urinary system: It consists of kidneys, bladder, and urethra that function in excretion.
