Prokaryotic cells:

  1. Prokaryotic cells have a membrane-bound nucleoid. Examples of prokaryotes are cyanobacteria, E. coli, and Mycoplasma.

Eukaryotic cell:

  1. These cells have membrane-bound organelles in addition to a nucleus. Eukaryotes can have a single cell or many cells. Examples of eukaryotes include animal cells and plant cells.

Difference between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells:
