Types of nervous systems:

1. In order to send impulses or messages throughout the body, our nervous system requires specialized cells called neurons.
2. These electrical signals are transmitted between the muscles, organs, glands, and the brain.
3. The signals enable us to move our limbs and experience sensations like pain.
4. Central Nervous System (CNS): It consists of the spinal and the brain. It is responsible for control, and information processing.
5. Peripheral Nervous System (PNS): It consists of afferent or sensory and efferent or motor nerve fibers. It connects the whole body with the central nervous system with the help of the nerves.
