Solution

Cerebrum:

  1. The cerebral cortex is the biggest region of the brain and is separated into two hemispheres.
  2. Muscle functions, as well as speech, cognition, emotions, reading, writing, and learning, are all controlled by areas in the cerebrum.
  3. Two hemispheres of the cerebrum are joined by a bundle of nerve fibers called the corpus callosum.
  4. The cerebrum, also known as the telencephalon, is the uppermost region of the brain.
  5. The cerebrum rests above the brainstem in the human skull, with the cerebellum beneath the back half.

Cerebellum:

  1. The cerebellum is a structure in the rear of the brain that lies underneath the cerebral cortex's occipital and temporal lobes.
  2. Although the cerebellum only makes up around 10% of the brain's volume, it includes more than half of the brain's total number of neurons.
  3. It aids coordination and mobility in motor abilities, particularly those involving the hands and feet.
  4. It also aids in the maintenance of good posture, balance, and equilibrium.

Brainstem:

  1. The portion at the base of the brain that sits between the deep structures of the cerebral hemispheres and the cervical spinal cord and regulates some involuntary functions of the body is known as the brainstem.
  2. It is the structure that links your brain to your spinal cord.
  3. It controls balance, respiration, heart rate, and other bodily functions, the brainstem transmits information to the rest of the body.
