The Civil disobedience movement was a milestone in the history of freedom struggle in India. It was started in 1930 with the breaking of the Salt Law. The movement started in two phases. The first phase was before the Gandhi Irwin Pact and second was after the Second Round Table Conference .As, the Gandhi Irwin Pact was signed Gandhiji agreed to withdraw the Civil disobedience movement. After this Gandhiji went to attend the Second Round table Conference but returned with much disappointment and resumed the movement once again.
