At the time of puberty, secondary sexual characters develop and sexual maturity takes place. This is manifested in the form of many changes in both girls and boys.
Some of the changes seen in girls at the time of puberty are as follows:
1) Voice turns shrill.
2) Breasts enlarge.
3) Hips become rounded.
4) Hairs grow under the armpit and in the pubic area.
5) Increase in their height.
6) Appearance of acne and pimple.

Some of the changes seen in boys at the time of puberty are as follows:
1) The penis and testicles grow and the scrotum gradually becomes darker.
2) Hairs grow under the arm pit and also in the pubic area.
3) The pubic hair becomes thicker and the curlier
4) Voice becomes hoarse.
5) Enlargement of Adam's apple.
6) Increase in their height.
7) Growth of facial hair.
