  3. By volume, dry air contains 78.09% nitrogen(N2), 20.95% oxygen(O2), 0.93% argon(Ar), 0.04% carbon dioxide(CO2), and small amounts of other gases.
  4. Air also contains a variable amount of water vapor[H2O(g)] on average around 1% at sea level, and 0.4% over the entire atmosphere.
