Solution

Pathogens:

  1. These are organisms that cause disease, disorders, or illness in the host tissue that they enter or attack.
  2. These may be bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoans, or parasitic worms.
  3. The different ways by which pathogens can harm their hosts are as follows:
  1. By destructing of host's body tissues: In chickenpox, scabies, or measles whereby the pathogen forms rashes on the host's body tissues.
  2. By the release of toxins which may be endotoxins that will harm the hosts: In Cholera, the bacteria release a cholera toxin that leads to the dysregulation of the intestine and causes acute dysentery.
