  5. Increased use of fossil fuels has a harsh effect on the environment.

Ways to reduce energy consumption:

  1. Installation of solar water heater at homes.
  2. For covering short distances, walking and bicycles must be utilized.
  3. Uses energy-efficient electrical appliances.
  4. Switch off lights, fans, and electrical appliances when not in use.
  5. Encouraging wind power.
