What are the features of sites of tRNA which are in distinct sites on ribosomes?

Solution

tRNA:

  1. On ribosomes, each type of tRNA has its own location.
  2. There are two different sites with different features - The A location is occupied by aminoacyl-tRNA.
  3. The location reveals a codon indicating the next amino acid to be added to the chain before it enters to bind.
  4. Peptidyl tRNA - tRNA, which carries the nascent polypeptide chain - controls the P site, which has a codon that specifies the most recent amino acid added to the chain.
