Solution

Liver:

  1. It is the largest gland in the human body, brown in colour, and produces bile.
  2. The bile formed within the liver is released into the small intestine and helps in the emulsification of fats in the small intestine.

Pancreas:

  1. It is another gland that is a key part of the digestive system and produces enzymes such as trypsin and chymotrypsin.
  2. The pancreatic enzymes are responsible for the breakdown of proteins in food.
  3. The juice also contains lipase which is needed for fat digestion.
  4. The juice has amylase known as pancreatic amylase which digests the starch in the food and forms simple sugars which can be absorbed easily.
