Some of the hazards associated with them are as:
Cyclone:It causes removal of forest canopy as well as change the landscape near coastal areas, by moving and reshaping sand dunes and causing extensive erosion along the coast. The rainfall associated with it led to heavy rainfall can lead to mudslides and landslides in mountainous areas.
Mesocyclone causes heavy hail.
Arctic storms can have a large impact on sea ice, causing it to melt rapidly.
