Protista:

  1. Unicellular eukaryotic organisms are grouped under the kingdom Protista.
  2. They have well-defined nuclei and membrane-bound organelles.
  3. Some of them have Cilia or flagella.
  4. Reproduction in protists is through asexual and sexual means.
  5. Some examples of this kingdom are algae, euglena, plasmodium, amoeba, slime molds etc.

Similarities between Monera and Protista:

  1. Monera and Protista have the Autotrophic and heterotrophic types of nutrition.
  2. Both Monera and protists have members without a cell wall, for example, mycoplasma under Monera and euglenoids under protists.
