What are the two main types of diseases?
Communicable and non-communicable
Non-communicable diseases are not caused by infectious agents. It cannot be transferred from one person to another. They are usually caused by genetic or lifestyle issues. Eg: Cancer, arthritis
Communicable diseases are caused by specific germs or microbes and can spread through a middle carrier agent (eg: mosquito) or directly from one person to another. Eg: Malaria, flu
