Ans: In a democracy, ordinary people participate in the process of government mainly through elections. During elections, people exercise their right to vote and elect their representatives. Thus, people participate in the government indirectly through their representatives. However, there are a lot of ways in which people become an integral part of the government. They are:

• Expressing opinions for or against government laws
