Given : Voltage of the battery V=20.0 volts
Total resistance of the circuit RT=5.0+2.0+1.0+2.0=10.0 Ω
Current flowing through the circuit I=20.010.0=2.0 A

Thus voltage drop across R1, V1=IR1=2.0×5.0=10.0 volts
