Factors affecting ecosystem are:

1. Biodiversity loss is referred as the extinction of several different species along with the local reduction or loss of species in a certain habitat, that results in the loss of biological diversity.
2. This could be temporary or permanent, depending on the environmental degradation that has caused the loss is reversible or irreversible through ecological restoration.
3. The causes of biodiversity loss are over-exploitation, habitat destruction, invasive species and co-extinctions.
4. Some human activities like deforestation, burning greenhouse gases, pollution, release of industrial gases can also upset the ecosystem.
