What cell type is Protista?

Open in App
Solution

Protists: These are eukaryotes since they possess a nucleus and other membrane-bound organelles.

  1. They are morphologically diverse and can be found in most terrestrial, aquatic, and marine habitats as free-living forms and as parasites of other protists, fungi, and plants and animals.
  2. Prokaryotes do not contain many of the cell organelles found in eukaryotes such as the nucleus and endoplasmic reticulum.
