Economic Imperialism :
(a) From the 17th century onwards, because of the industrial revolution, new type of imperialism tromped.
(b) The main objective of this new imperialism of the Western countries was to secure more and more economic gains for their countries through trade and other means.
(c) This was possible by political and economic domination of the foreign lands and colonies.
(d) This new form of imperialism is known as 'Economic Imperialism'.
