What do you mean by Garden City who introduced it and why

Dear Student,
The concept of Garden City was developed by Ebenezer Howard in United Kingdom. He introduced this concept of city planning in the urban areas so as to provide a peaceful lifestyle to the self-contained communities and increase beauty of the city. According to his plannings, the urban areas and cities were proportionately divided in to residential, agricultural and industrial areas surrounded by greenbelts.
