What do you mean by representative elements? Give example.

1. The elements from Group 1 and 2 and Group 13-18 expect VII_A group are called Representative elements.
2. Elements from 1 and 2 groups are called s-block elements and elements from 13 to 18 (last six families or groups (on the right) ) groups are called p-block elements. Example: Na, K, Si, Pb, etc.
