Density : Density of a substance is defined as the mass of that substance per unit volume The SI unit of density is kg/$m^3$ and in CGS unit is g/$c{m}^3$

Density = $\frac{Mass}{Volume}$

In other words the density of a substance determines how densely the matter (atom or molecules) is packed in a certain volume of that substance
