Solution
Voltmeter:
A voltmeter is a device that measures voltages of direct or alternating electric current on a meter that is typically graded in volts.
To measure the voltage across a gadget, a voltmeter is always connected in parallel across it.
It has high resistance so that the current passing through the circuit is not disrupted and cannot pass through it instead of passing through the electrical equipment across which it is connected and it can measure the right value.
