  1. Triploblastic is a condition of the gastrula in which there are three primary germ layers: the ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm.
  2. Ectoderm is the outermost germ layer.
  3. Mesoderm is the middle germ layer.
  4. Endoderm is the innermost germ layer.
  5. If mesoderm is absent then it is diploblastic.
  6. The mesoderm allows them to develop true organs.
  7. Examples of triploblastic organisms are Aschelminthes, earthworm, etc.
