Solution
Coronary Artery Disease:
It is also known as ischemic heart disease.
Coronary artery disease is a condition that occurs due to the lipid deposition of plaque in the coronary arteries.
It is also called as atherosclerosis which in turn leads to blockages.
The artery becomes very rigid and narrow, thus the flow of blood to the heart is blocked.
It is referred as the first stage in the development of the plaque.
The major concerning factor of coronary artery disease is that the plaque could rupture causing heart attack which might cause sudden cardiac death due to congestive heart failure.
If it is left untreated, coronary artery disease can eventually lead to heart failure, that can cause death.
